Marco Papetti began frequenting recording studios at a very young age, making his debut as an arranger and keyboard player in the famous "COLLECTIONS" of his father, the very famous saxophonist FAUSTO PAPETTI, with whom he made around ten CDs and whose production he still deals with today. Over time and thanks to his father's precious teachings, he cultivated a great interest in jazz and especially bossanova, to the point of creating some songs (then used in various productions) in Rio De Janeiro at the Arena Estudio, supported by musicians qualified Brazilians including guitarist Perinho Santana (past collaborator of Ivan Lins) and Laudir De Oliveira (percussionist of Chicago). In 2013 the partnership with Italian Way Music was born, a label dedicated to various musical genres including smooth jazz and bossanova, and the musical project THE LOUNGEMASTERS immediately came to life, from an idea of ​​Marco supported by his dear friend and collaborator Maurizio Bellocco , also coming from Fausto Papetti's historic band as drummer. There are various illustrious collaborations in Marco's productions: in Milan he involves Tullio De Piscopo, the famous drummer, and Bruno De Filippi, the most famous Italian harmonica player in the world, in the creation of some of his songs... and in New York at the Bedford Studio works with Lou Marini (sax of the Blues Brothers), Ada Rovatti and Randy Brecker, the award-winning jazz trumpeter who won the Grammy Awards. Since 2020 Marco has produced three CDs under his own name, addressing the world of smooth jazz...the latest EPs "RIVIERA" and "BOSSA" (then combined in a compilation entitled "MUSIC CLUB") gained the attention of international smooth jazz radio stations: in particular the song "BRAZITALY" reaches third position on web radios in Spain and Latin America, and to date "CLUB RIVIERA" (the second extract from the compilation) is still placed in the TOP 100 SMOOTHJAZZCLUB Alongside Marco as always Maurizio with whom the artistic partnership has lasted more than thirty years.... A new EP is currently being prepared which will be completed in the next few months, preceded by the song "ESPANOLA WAY", distributed on the most important digital platforms from summer 2024.
