The Group was formed in the summer of 2002 under the artistic name "Le Teen-Agers" in Torre Santa Susanna in the province of Brindisi. The protagonists of the group are five very young girls, Santina VAPORE - Margherita DESTRADIS - Annalia MASI - Marilina DESTRADIS - Rossella ARENA. START A SMALL FABLE ... .. The five Pugliese participate since small to numerous provincial festivals (they have been performing in public since the age of 8 with participation in numerous singing competitions), each one on his way and each according to their own musical tastes ... .. In the summer of 2002 the "group" is born: it happens that the Pro Loco of Torre Santa Susanna, at the fair party, is empowered for the realization of the event and decides to have the five girls sing ... The first concert (2 May 2002) is already an event ! They perform with greater success in other events organized during 2002 thanks to the advertising done by some regional newspapers, which make known the group with lots of photos of the five girls. The Apulia regional selection is brilliantly successful, so they have access to the Sanremo Song Academy (11-16 November 2002); "The Teen-Agers" perform in a very rich and varied repertoire ranging from Italian songwriters to dance music up to the songs of the 60s / 70s. The great success with the public is shown by the intense concert activity and participation in various events throughout 2003, in which, in addition to being guests on regional TV (eg Studio 100 TV Taranto from 4 to 10 February, TBM, Puglia Channel), are ranked first in the International Festival "Una Voce per la Canzone nel Mondo" held in Terracina (LT) on 16-19 October 2003. Participate in the AFI compilation of the MIDEM in Cannes 2004 and the RAI selection of the 54th Sanremo Festival.
