Erik Sjøholm (FIN) is a singer-songwriter, storyteller and multi-instrumentalist from Finland with a sound similar to artists like Damien Rice, Jeff Buckley and Glen Hansard. His songs are story driven and dynamic, playfully moving between the most intimate to the most cinematic. Erik grew up in the Swedish speaking part of Finland, in a family where music was spoken by all family members. Throughout his career he’s explored various roles in the industry from being a session musician in wedding bands, writing songs for Jpop and Kpop as a housewriter at Sugar House Publishing, writing and performing music for storytelling shows in Amsterdam with world known theatre makers and most recently, writing music for film and TV.
