Vladimiro Cainero was born in Udine-Italy July 15, 1959 at the age of 11 years and approached to the study of French Horn. Graduated in 1979 at the Musical Institute J. Tomadini of Udine, under the guidance of Maestro Giorgio Arvati, he perfected later in Milan with Maestro Elvio Modonesi. He won the competition for 2nd horn in 1979 at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, where he worked until 1981. In 1980 he won an audition for First Horn in Orchestra A. Scarlatti of Naples and another for First Horn at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. In 1981 he won the competition for 1st Horn at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, in which he still works. EXPERIENCE He has performed numerous solo concerts for Horn and Orchestra, such as the Horn Concerto No. 3 in Eflat Major, K447, Concerto for Horn and Orchestra No. 4 in E-flat Major, K495 and 'Sin-voice Concertante' of WA Mozart, Concerto No. 1 by R. Strauss, 'Serenade for Tenor and Horn' of B. Britten, the Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 by J.S. Bach. He has collaborated with the Conservatory N. Paganini of Genoa from 2000 to 2003 for orchestral formation courses. In 2004 he was invited by the Institute of Music in Damascus in Syria for a MasterClass where he performed in a solo concert for Horn and Harp. Has played and still plays an intense chamber activity for winds: he played with the group Brasses of the Carlo Felice in Genoa, with whom in 2006 he performed in China, in Beijing, Shanghai and on the Great Wall; he had been part of the brass quintet Makebrass with whom he participated at the 2008 International Festival of Cervo and Primiero Dolomites Festival and took part in records and direct on radio / television. He collaborated with the composers Pivio and Aldo de Scalzi for the soundtracks of Barbarossa, directed by Renzo Martinelli, Box Office 3D by Ezio Greggio, and other films. Since 2011 he has worked several times as First Horn, by the Orchestra of the Academy of St. Cecilia di Roma, for concerts and the recording of the dvd William Tell by G. Rossini, directed by Maestro Anthony Pappa-no, and participated in the month of July 2011 at the opening of the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in London. In March 2013, was invited by the International Horn Society Workshop at the Mid South in the prestigious West Texas A & M University for a solo concert on the opening night and the following Masterclass. In 2015 he started collaborating with the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma Orchestra and the Orchestra Filarmonica della Calabria. In 2016 he recorded the single “Airka” composed by Nicola Ferro for Horn and Harp, with Marcella Lamberti.
